Eon Shenton is 32 storey mix development building project comprising of shop at 1st storey, 2 basement of carpark, 4 storey multi-storey carpark podium, offices(lower tower), residential flats(upper tower total 132 units) and 3 storeys of sky terrace at Shenton Way with total gross floor area 20,000 m2.
Eon Shenton building is located at Central Business District area which provide place for work, live and play. Office space is 4.8m high ceiling level for providing comfort working environment all the time. Residents can enjoy 3 outstanding sky decks offering hotel-style facilities and unblocked views of the city skyline with greenery of the communal sky terrace on 8th, 11th, 16th, 19th storey exclusively for offices and 25th storey, 29th storey for residential units.
Location of Eon Shenton project is the most challenge part that we faced during our construction period. The building can be described as an island surrounded by Shenton Way Road, Palmer Road, Mistri Road and Parsi Road. There is limited loading and unloading area and storage space at site with only 1,840 m2 site area. We overcame the constraint with implementing proper safety and traffic control system to ensure public safety is totally protected.
Vertical and horizontal system formwork, prefabricated columns, wall and slab reinforcement were among a few value engineering implemented to expedite construction cycle for this high-rise building. With cooperation among site construction team, 6 days cycle per floor was achieved to offer shorter construction period.
Unitised aluminium cladding wall system was implemented at 2nd storey to 6th storey external façade work to speed up cladding wall installation during construction period with excellence aesthetic view.
